Ischemic colitis is a problem which damages the part of the large intestine. The large intestine is also referred by the term colon. This damage is due to the deficiency of blood flow in the colon. This disease is possible for the people who are crossed the age of 50. The possible reasons for this condition are diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, level of blood pressure in the abnormal stage either high or low, rheumatoid arthritis and also due to the intake of some medicines for constipation. The possible symptoms for this problem are pain occurs in the abdomen, diarrhea, fever, vomiting and the presence of blood in the stool. There are several antibiotics are available to get cure from this condition. At extreme stage, surgery is needed.
