The amylase is the used to break the starch substance in to sugar. It is an one type of enzyme. It is present in the human saliva and it does the digestion process. The content of the starch is high in the food and contain less sweet. The amylase is used to turn the starch in to sweet. The amylase is produced by some plants and bacteria. It is the first enzyme discovered in the body.

There are three types of amylase namely alpha, beta and gamma. It is synthesized by the calcium. It is functionless without calcium. The bacteria and fungi enable the beta amylase. The plant seeds contain both the alpha and beta amylase. The acidic substance contains the gamma amylase. The amylase is used for so many purposes like dishwasher.
